The master of Delchev’s home was a
woman with such a soft heart, as her husband was severe. Her name was
Sultana
and she was daughter of Yane Nuradgiev from village Murarci in Karadag.
As a
girl she was famous beauty and like all Bulgarians she was shy and
modest, with
respect to adults, submissive to her husband and hardworking. Her
most exceptional feature was lovely goodness. Without her the house was
colder
and without face. Nicola loved his children and took care of them but
he wasn’t
showing that and usually he sowed his severity more than his love. Sultana
was the fireplace which hated the house, shined light and proposed
peace to
everybody, who went to their house.
Neighbours
permanently went and went out from
Delchev’s house, looked for sympathy for sickness or lose or something
as help
to got over some material crisis because of the unpleased fall of
economy, many
families in Kukush fall down in financial difficulties no matter how
hard they
tried to work for their feed. Sultana never back anybody with empty
hands or
empty heart. She gave to the poor flour, wine rakia or charcoal and the
crashed
with soft words.
Sultana gave
to her husband nine children: four
boys – Gotse, Mitsom Milan and Christo, and five girls – Rusha, Tsotsa,
Tina,
Welika and Elena and everybody were pride to their parents.
